Makers Group Shops
Several groups of makers have taken an empty shop for a week or more to show and sell their products. Working together this model enables several people to share a shop but only two people need to be in the shop on any day. This allows others to continue in their business of making while their goods are being sold by others. Everyone takes a turn to manage the shop. The end result of one group of makers who spent several weeks in a couple of shops was MAKE Industries, an outlet for many artists and makers year round.
