Para Kernewek Pennsans 2018

Dydh da! (Hello!). Pop Up Penzance were asked once again to help with the Cornish Language festival, Para Kernewek Pennsans which is a project run by Golden Tree Productions. A chance for the general public to get down and dirty with the Cornish Language. Taking normal activities, eating and drinking, socialising, shopping and having fun, but with the added twist of doing it all in Kernewek, (Cornish). We organised a Trovyans Tresor, (Town Trail),  with local schools making wonderful artistic installations in several shops and cafe’s in Penzance, creating a trail where volunteers challenged the treasure seekers to speak some Cornish and gain a stamp in their Tremmengumyas, (Passport), a full quota of stamps gets a free Cakey Tea! Splann! (Splendid!).
