Mr Fox’s Winter Hop Pop Up Penzance conceived the idea of creating fabulous artist-designed Christmas windows in empty shops, with the idea that a trail of wonderful windows would inspire people to visit Penzance in the run-up to Christmas, bringing fun and loveliness to the town. Supported by some local businesses and town centre funds, they invited artists Rowena Zoro and Kate Beckly to create the first of these windows. The pictures say more than our words can, only to say that when you stepped into the “grotto”, it felt about 5degrees colder, now how did they do that?
