Trovyans Tresor 2019

For the third year we have worked with Go Cornish to bring the Cornish language to school children and their families. Liaising with local artists, Belinda Landini, Alessandra Ausenda, & Julia Kerrison and 9 local schools, window displays were created from the Tales of Porth books. These were displayed in 9 shop windows around Penzance creating a Trovyans Tresor, (Treasure Trail) for the children and their families. The treasure at the end of the trail was a cakey tea treat upstairs in Warrens Bakery and a free Tales of Porth book signed by the author, Will Coleman. Over 200 people took part in the trail which entailed visiting the shops and answering some questions in Cornish to gain a gold coin on the treasure map. Much fun was had by all! Ober Da! (Proper job!). Click here to see a video of the Trovyans Tresor in Penzance.
